Update April 08

Hello All,

We are still in Florida, but not in Marathon anymore. We went up to Fort Myers Beach on the west coast of Florida for a while, where Mike did some work, and everybody else hung out. We met a very neat, very artistic family living close-by on shore. Their daughter was a couple years older than Rheannon, but they got along very well.
After a couple months there we took the boat up to Charlotte Harbour boat yard, where we scrubbed off barnacles, repainted the hull, and Mike made some rather major modifications to the center-board, basically making it shorter and less intrusive into our living area.
Nicolas particularly enjoyed the boat yard because there was a club house/hang out area where all the boaters in the yard made and ate their meals, and hung out at in the evening. We all enjoyed visiting with the other boaters.
Debbie, Mike, and Nicolas are presently boogieing up to Jacksonville, all the way on the other side of Florida, to pick up Rheannon-- who went up to Madison, WI (where we lived before moving on the boat) to visit friends and help with a theatre production.
